Cleaning of Floors

Top Notch Floors Cleaning, Countertops & Bath Tub Walls Cleaning Services

Cleaning of floors for appearance, and the removal of stains, dirt, and allergens is done through several methods. Clean carpets are recognized by manufacturers as being more visually pleasing, potentially longer-lasting, and healthy carpets. First Class Carpet Service specializes in the following:

1.DRY CARPET CLEANING

Dry carpet cleaning involves the use of specialized machines to clean carpets with recently developed chemical technologies that permit no-moisture or “very low moisture” (VLM) cleaning, resulting in carpet beautification, and removal of stains, dirt, grit, sand, and allergens. Clean carpets are recognized by manufacturers as being more visually pleasing, potentially longer-lasting and probably healthier than poorly maintained carpets.

Carpet cleaning is reportedly widely misunderstood, and chemical developers have only within recent decades created new carpet care technologies. Dry carpet cleaning can also aid in achieving U.S. Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Design (LEED) certification.

2.STEAM CLEANING

Steam cleaning involves using steam for removing dirt from a variety of surfaces, such as cleaning of shower walls. Its uses include domestic applications in cleaning flooring and household dirt removal such as cleaning of counterparts and tub surroundings in bathrooms, shower walls, bath tub walls as well as the floors and industrial uses in removing grease and dirt from engines. If you wish to undertake professional cleaning of bath tub walls and floors, ensure that you contact First Class Carpet Service.

In ovens, steam cleaning is a safe alternative to self-cleaning because with water it uses safer, lower temperatures than self-cleaning.

3.TRUCKMOUNT CARPET CLEANER

truck mount carpet cleaner is a carpet and upholstery cleaning unit that is generally mounted to the floor of a van or trailer. Its cleaning method is Hot water extraction. The operator would park the van near the premises, connect the vacuum hose and solution line hose into the machine, bring the hoses into the building, and connect a carpet cleaning wand to the end of the hoses.

With this facility, we can carry out cleaning of countertops and tub surround.

Commercial Cleaning

Commercial cleaning is a broad term predominantly used by cleaning companies who earn an income by being contracted by individuals, businesses, or corporations to carry out cleaning jobs in a variety of premises. Cleaning companies can be found in virtually every town and city in the world, with a higher concentration in affluent regions. Typically these companies market their services via a professional sales force, advertising, word of mouth, or websites.

Floor Cleaning

Cleaning of floors is a major occupation throughout the world. The main job of most cleaners is to mop, swipe and provide a dirt free area to people, and our staff has been well-trained in the same.

Wood flooring

Different types of wood flooring may require completely different care depending on whether they are waxed, oiled or have a polyurethane coating. It is important to determine the type of finish of a wood floor and always treat it in the proper manner, for instance it is difficult to clear wood floor wax from a floor coated with polyurethane. Simple cleaning instructions:

Clear the floor of any furniture that is easy to move.

Sweep or vacuum all loose dirt and debris.

Mop the floor, going along with the grain. For a polyurethane coated floor, dampen a mop with water and a few drops of dish washing liquid. Be sure to ring out the mop thoroughly before using it on the floor. Run the mop back and forth, going with the grain of the wood in smooth strokes. Do not use water for lacquered or shellacked floors, as it can stain the wood and cause buckling.

Buff the floor with a soft cloth to remove any soapy residue. Cloth diapers work well for buffing since they are very soft and absorbent.

Tile and Stone

Tile and stone flooring is common in kitchens, stairs, and bathrooms. Its cleaning process can be divided into three steps:

  • Dirt or dust should first be removed with a vacuum cleaner or a broom.

Have a floor cleaning solution or spray bottle for the appropriate floor. If you are cleaning stone floors (marble, granite, travertine, etc.), make sure the cleaning agent states that it is for stones. An acidic tile cleaning solution can be used on ceramic floors

  • After spraying the tile or stone floors in a small area, use a mop to clean and scrub floors.

Vinyl Composite Tile

VCT is a common commercial floor type. Cleaning this type of floor is done with either a mop or bucket or with a floor scrubber. VCT requires a polymer coating or floor finishing protecting it. This needs to be kept clean with dust mopping and wet cleaning. (i.e. wet mopping or floor scrubber)
